What is scalp micropigmentation?
SMP places tiny pigment dots in the scalp to create the look of natural hair follicles. It can give the appearance of a fuller shaved head, added density where hair is thinning, or camouflage for scars.
Will it look natural?
Amy plans your hairline, density and pigment tone around you, then builds the result in layers across your sessions so it blends in naturally.
Does it hurt?
Comfort varies from person to person and by area of the scalp. Amy will talk you through what to expect at your consultation.
How many sessions will I need?
Most treatments include three or four sessions, as shown in the price list above. Small scar work is charged per session.
Is SMP suitable for women?
Yes. Full top scalp density is available for both men and women, and Amy will advise what suits you at your consultation.
Can it disguise hair transplant scars?
Yes. FUT and FUE scar camouflage starts at £200 for smaller areas such as the hairline or temples, and £450 for larger scars across the back of the head.
Do I need top-ups?
Over time SMP can soften, so top-up sessions (£200 to £300 each) are available to keep your result looking fresh.
